Q: What's Tokyo Bag?
A: Tokyo Bag is the bag brand which is designed, fabricated and managed by me! Bags are started off from choice of materials based on the idea of sustainability, good for all of us and environment!

Q: What is washable paper ?
A: It is made from sturdy and sustainable wood pulp. This eco-friendly European material has been around for many years, and is often called “paper leather” because of how it softens beautifully with age.
You may recognize the washable paper material from the “leather” tags featured on most popular jean brands.
This long-lasting material can mimic the look and function of animal leather, but has the two major advantages of being cruelty-free and environmentally conscious.
Washable paper is made in Germany under Oeko-Tex Standard 100. It's developed from natural plant fibers and uses zero harmful substances throughout the entire production process, guaranteed.
Q: What is Beeswax cotton ?
A:Beesswax bags are made of cotton which have been coated with a combination of beeswax, oils, and organic resins. Once coated, the fabric becomes water-resistant.
You can use beeswax cotton as an alternative for regular plastic wrap. Beeswax bags can be reused for about a year before they loose their magic powers. But, at that point you can cut them up and add them to your garden compost.

Q: Where is your Tokyo Bag atelier?
A: We are in the middle of beautiful plateau in Montreal. Drop me a line if you want to visit my workshop! Invite you with a cup of Japanese tea.
ONLINE SHOP / SHIPPING / DELIVERY
Q: How long will my order take to process and ship once my order is placed?
A: Orders will typically take 3-5 business days (Mon-Fri) to process and ship. Once your order is shipped, we cannot make any changes or issue any refunds. You will receive a shipping notification once your order is on its way. If you chose tracked shipping, that information will be sent in a separate e-mail. (Check your spam folder!)
Q: My order has shipped. How long will it take to receive my package?
A: Once the order has left our shop, it depends on the shipping method you chose! Small envelope options are UNTRACKED typically takes 2-14 business days. Otherwise, expedited parcels within Canada usually will arrive within 7 business days and International parcels can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Please note that due to COVID-19, your local mail courier may be experiencing delays. These are unfortunately out of our control.
Q: My order arrived with the wrong items/missing items!! What do I do!?
A: First off, Sorry about that!!! I'm only one woman packing every single order and sometimes I will make mistakes. If you are missing an item or you received the incorrect item, please shoot me a message with a photo to goto.ayako@gmail.com. I will remedy the situation ASAP to the best of my ability :)
Q: My order shipped a really long time ago! Can you tell me where it is?
A: That depends on the shipping method you chose! Unfortunately if you chose Small Envelope (Untracked) as your shipping method, we literally have no idea where it is. It was shipped using stamps and therefore has no tracking number to look up. Please reach out if you have not received your order in 30 business days. If you chose expedited parcel or another tracked method, we will be happy to check into it for you!
